In order to meet the relevant needs of parties involved in economic and legal activities, the State Intellectual Property Office （SIPO) further optimized the patent certificates and certified copies of patent certificates on the basis of providing real-time, convenient and transparent information search channels to patentees and the public via the Internet platform, and no longer attach to a patent pamphlet. 

We hereby announce the relevant issues as follows:

I. The patent certificate issued by the State Intellectual Property Office of the Company on the announcement day of authorization after March 2, 2018 (inclusive) and April 24, 2018 (exclusive) includes the front page of the certificate and the title page of the patent pamphlet.

II. For patents issued after the announcement of the authorization on April 24, 2018 (inclusive), the SIPO will issue a new version of the patent certificate and a copy of the patent certificate after the announcement of the authorization. The new patent certificate and the certified copy of the patent certificate will be canceled patent pamphlets, and add the number of authorized notice, the patentee address information.

Ⅲ. The new version and old version of patent certificate and certified copy of patent certificate have the same legal effect,unless otherwise provided, patentee does not need to change to new version.

Ⅳ.Since the date of the announcement of the authorization, the patentee and the public may inquire and obtain the corresponding patent pamphlet from China Patent Announcement and Bulletin System (http://epub.sipo.gov.cn).
